my cousin vinny

My cousin Vinny follows the story of two friends on holiday who have been mistakenly accused of committing murder. Unable to afford a proper lawyer the pair turn to one of the boys cousins a loudmouth Italian new Yorker who took 6 attempts to pass his bar exam, how ever their lawyer known as Vinny Gambini (Pesci) is a personal injury lawyer and has never had one case in criminal law.

Fearing the judge will find out that he has no experience and also fearing the fact that two innocent boys could be killed if he doesn't help them the odds are really stacked up against Gambini, but with the help of his long legged loudmouth girlfriend Mona Lisa Vito (Marisa Tomei), who has to bail Gambini out of jail for contempt more times than you can imagine, the dynamic duo will do what ever they can to succeed.

Now for Mytvtalk.com no BS rating

With excellent performances from Pesci, Tomei and even the judge (Fred Gwynne) it's hard to find anything wrong with my cousin Vinny. The film also benefits from a well-crafted plot, courtesy of screenwriter Dale Launer, which puts a fresh twist on stock situations and characters.
