Paul Blart Movie Review
Paul Blart Movie Review

He's fat he's useless and he's a want to be police officer, this can only mean one thing a mall cop. Paul Blart is a fat useless mall cop who takes his job way too seriously when no one else could give a dam about him or his job for that matter. Paul Blart is also trying to get into the Police Force however he suffers from diabetes and he keeps having hypoglycaemia attacks causing him to faint every time he tries to join the police force.
Paul Blart falls in love with the new hair and wigs girl in the Mall however they really don't get enough time to build on a relationship as the mall is overrun with thieves who take over the mall and also take Pauls girlfriend to be, his daughter and a couple of other people hostage, and for some reason Paul Blart is the only help they have left, so armed with his Segway a torch and his fat belly Paul Blart tries to save the day.
This movie has been called 'Die Hard' but funnier, however I disagree, Paul Blart may copy scenes from die hard but in no way as exciting to watch and funny? I don't really think any of the jokes in this movie are that funny at all, basically the whole joke in the movie is this fat loser Paul Blart and the reason I keep calling him fat is that most of the jokes in this movie are based on Paul Blart's weight.
I'm not a fan of Paul Blart at all, the jokes are unfunny, the characters I couldn't care less about and even Kevin Smith who is usually a funny guy fails to deliver , maybe it wasn't his fault but the lines he was given didn't help either. The villains or robbers don't help the storyline along either, basically we have this group of villains who know all about police and FBI protocol so their open step ahead of them at all times, however instead of carrying out robbing the mall all they seem to do is ride around on their silly skateboards and BMX's jumping around the place like circus clowns, it's just lazy ass story telling that is added into the mixture to try and make the movie look cool, but it doesn't it sucks balls. All in all Paul Blart Mall cop is one movie you won't want to be seeing this year. I give Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 out of 5 stars.
