Donna (Brittany Snow) is just putting her life back together as 3 years ago her family were brutally murdered by an obsessive school teacher Richard Fenton. After the police caught Richard he was sent to a mental institution after his lawyer used the insanity plea, however on Donna’s prom night Richard escapes from the institution and wants to get close to her once again.
Every scare tactic in the book is used in this movie from the ‘it was just a dream sequence’ to ‘seeing things that aren’t there’ so as you can imagine when watching this you pretty much know what is going to happen. The actual movie opens with a ‘just a dream sequence’ but it did happen in this case but just 3 years earlier.
Now for Mytvtalk.com honest rating
This is probably one of the worst horror movies I have watched in recent years as everything you would expect to happen evidently does also for the type of this movie i.e. hack and slash you would expect some decent kills, however you would be wrong in thinking this and hardly nothing is shown and the kills are very boring to watch. Most of the kills take place when the teens go up from the main hall that their prom is being held in to the room that Donna has rented, so when one of the teens enters the room you know that their pretty much dead, however this isn’t the case for Donna and when the killer gets his chance to kill her he just watches but for some reason in the final act all he wants to do is kill her.
If you listen to one thing I say this year don’t watch Prom Night, it’s a boring and unwatchable movie and there for Mytvtalk.com awards it 1 star out of 5.

This movie I am planning on watching. A lot of my favorite horror movies got bad review, so I am planning on watching it before I decided. I like the first PROM MOVIE with Jamie Lee Curtis. I love watching her dance.
