Saw 5 Movie Review

saw 5

It seams most of the critics have jumped on the Saw 5 hate bandwagon with some of the critics calling saw 5 one of the worst horror movies in recent times, not only is this untrue but it really questions the honesty of the people reviewing these movies. Here at Mytvtalk we will tell it like it is and that's what we are going to do.

Just as previous Saw movies have stunned us with horrific torture sequences; Saw 5 continues to do so with more elaborate traps and goriness to get the strongest of stomachs to feel un easy.

With Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda dead in the previous movies we knew that some one was going to carry on the jigsaw murders and from the ending in saw 4 we knew this some one was going to be detective Hoffman.

In this movie we learn that Hoffman had been helping Jigsaw for a lot longer than expected and that both of them have been working together and planning a big 'game' that will involve the cast from previous movies and more than likely future events, however this plan seams to hit a brick wall when one of the investigating FBI agents doesn't die in one of Jigsaws traps.

Saw 5 starts to fit together some of the 'jigsaw' pieces from previous movies but it also leaves some missing pieces. Fans of previous saw movies will have to see this movie and general horror fans should also check out Saw 5 but not before seeing the previous 4.

The graphic images, good storyline and equally as good twists and turns make Saw 5, a must watch movie for any horror/thriller fan.

In typical saw fashion the ending of this movie will leave you wanting more, and I for one can not wait for Saw 6 this time next year. Overall Saw 5 is exactly what you would expect from Saw movies and more, although it's not my favourite out of the Saw franchise, saw 5 ranks up towards the top.

Mytvtalk.com awards Saw 5 4/5 Stars.
