Shutter follows a photographer named Ben (Joshua Jackson) and his new wife Jane (Rachel Taylor) who visit Japan as Ben is working on an assignment out there. While driving one foggy night the couple think they hit a young Japanese girl dressed in white with long black hair (sound familiar). They phone the police but no body can be found or any blood for that matter.

However all through out their trip in Japan they have glimpses of a young girl with long scruffy hair.

Soon after Ben starts taking pictures, he notices that there are white orbs in his photos, Ben thinks he may have damaged his camera but when his wife sees them on her camera also they realise something is wrong.

Jane discovers of a Japanese fork lore caked spirit images and she realises this is what is appears on their images. Before Jane can find out more about this fork lore people start dying around her, including some of Ben's best friends.

Now for Mytvtalk.com no BS rating

Shutter offers no real big scares and the ending can be seen without the use of a telephoto lens before its time is up. If you're looking for a horror movie that is going to frighten you this isn't it. Mytvtalk awards Shutter 2 out of 5 stars.
